There is a vital Fresh Start beachhead in Wasilla, Alaska! It is based in Church On The Rock, a church with a vision of planting other churches. This means that wherever they plant a church, they also want to plant Fresh Start! The "fresh start for every heart" mission of Fresh Start is definitely alive and well in Alaska and going out from there!
- Fresh Start Wasilla celebrated their 4th Anniversary on October 5, 2009.
- Fresh Start Palmer (partnering with Valley Harvest Church) started January '09.
- Fresh Start Homer (Church On The Rock plant) started in January '09.
- Fresh Start Talkeetna is planned for launch early 2010 (Church On The Rock plant).
Also in keeping with the global mission of Fresh Start For All Nations, Fresh Start Alaska is also going to the nations!
- Fresh Start Ireland, with the main focus in Dublin, Ireland and Belfast, Northern Ireland.
- Fresh Start Sri Lanka in two churches in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
- Plans are underway to plant a church and Fresh Start in Westport, Ireland in 2010.
- Plans are underway to take Fresh Start to Uganda in 2010.
Wherever Fresh Start Alaska spreads, the mission is the same: providing the opportunity for men, women, young people, and children to resolve issues of offense, hurt, and loss through experiencing the power of forgiveness and freedom in Jesus Christ!
Remember, there's always MORE with the Lord!
