FRESH START ZAMBIA!
Zambia, over the last four decades, has experienced much change in the relational landscape among both the rich and the poor. This change has not spared the church. Relationships in families and in communities are facing very difficult situations: divorce, sexual abuse, anger and unforgiveness. This has given way to many people being demonized and in spiritual bondage.
Therefore, the establishment of Fresh Start Zambia is a recognition of the fact that there is an epidemic of unforgiveness all around our nation today, and many are in need of a fresh start, both Christians and non-Christians.
VISION
Our vision is to raise up a new generation of men, women, and young people who will be able to change the destiny of their world through a lifestyle of resolving the effects offenses, hurts, and losses through the transforming power of forgiveness in Christ Jesus, and therefore becoming free to be who they were created to be!
GOALS
At the Fresh Start Training Seminar in May of this year (2011), we as participants were relieved from our pain and frustration as a result of unforgiveness in our hearts. As the seminar progressed, we experienced the unpacking of our burdens before the Lord, which led to forgiving people and institutions that had inflicted pain in our lives and relationships. Among those forgiven were: employers, uncles, husbands, wives, friends and neighbors and many others!
Having been equipped as a Fresh Start Leadership Team, we intend to visit various parts of Zambia and equip both young people and adults to experience a life-style of Processing The Issues of Your Heart -- a forgiven, forgiving and free life!
Our desire is for married couples, families, churches and communities to experience transformation through the power of forgiveness and freedom in Christ for the Glory of God!
